The primary duties of the Manager​ position include:
-Maintaining the milk + honey brand and standards
-Interviewing for and staffing the spa | salon
-Mentoring and coaching concierges m+h staff
-Assisting in calculating and updating daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly business goals, maintain accountability for those goals and revenue projections
- Store level marketing events

The Manager performs a full spectrum of duties, ensuring exceptional client service and employee satisfaction. The Assistant Manager job will average 45 hours per week and a semi-fixed schedule. The essential duties and responsibilities for the position of Assistant Manager include:
Customer Service and Retail Expert
  • Possess superior customer service skills and knowledge to mediate all situations with a calm, helpful demeanor
  • Take initiative on client survey, be the contact for scores that need to be investigated
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of our operating system and the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Work assigned shifts at the desk to keep in contact with staff and clients, use that time to identify trainable moments
  • Assist HR in interviewing for staff positions and determining staffing metrics
  • Monitor all reports, check for accuracy, resolve issues that affect closing numbers
  • Enter and edit new and existing employees schedules, adjust time clocks
  • Train, quiz and prep new hires and existing front desk staff
  • Demonstrate calm ability to multitask in a high pressure environment
  • Be available on a limited on-call basis for protocol and system questions
  • Set an example by being flexible and punctual in your schedule
  • Manage retail ordering, create purchase orders, receive products, perform monthly counts and create retail displays
  • Introduce new retail items and lines to staff and make sure they are trained on those items
  • Monitor retail transactions to ensure accuracy
General Requirements
  • Be the contact of any in-store Marketing initiatives, including signage
  • Process weekly deposit and take to the bank
  • Assist with payroll
  • Manage housekeeping department and schedule
  • Create and track monthly contests for all departments, attend all department-specific meetings
  • Be a contact for repairs make sure to communicate with staff regarding all repairs
  • Troubleshoot any issues that affect client or Partisan experiences
  • Witness or conduct employee write ups or terminations as directed by manager
  • Take initiative to help create new processes
  • Assist in calculating and updating business goals
  • Be able to forecast schedule, identify problems and solve proactively
  • Keep your location -front and back- organized, clean, and presentable
  • Personify milk + honey’s 4 Principles in every interaction with clients and coworkers
  • Must be able to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Must be able to hear so as to effectively understand customer’s needs
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
