milk + honey is looking for an exceptional Information Technology Support Assistant to join our growing team!
 
Underlying the award-winning services that milk + honey provides in its locations is technology and data which allow us to work efficiently and with intelligence. The Information Technology Assistant will support milk + honey’s current information technology systems and help to develop new systems to support milk + honey’s future growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Computer management and desktop support
    • Purchase new computers and maintain list of supported systems
    • Create and maintain computer and other equipment inventory log
    • Install and manage licenses of software
    • Install new printers on network
    • Coordinate maintenance of computers when needed
  • Location network support
    • Ensure that each location has appropriate connectivity for phones and internet
    • Ensure that employees and guests have secure wifi
    • Develop processes for handling support issues
    • Document network configurations
    • Coordinate with our outside IT vendor when needed
  • Security Cameras
    • Purchase and install security cameras for each location
    • Develop and implement audit process for security cameras
  • User Account Management/Email
    • Create email and other online accounts
    • Develop and implement a plan for regularly changing passwords for key email accounts that are shared by multiple employees (concierge, etc.)
    • Manage group password sharing through password manager (Passpack)
  • Music
    • Work with third party music services to develop new music playlists
    • Ensure that music playlists are updated regularly
    • Solicit feedback from employees and customers on feedback and use this feedback to make changes to playlists

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of IT work experience
  • Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent job experience
  • Experience using Macs
  • Experience using G Suite applications
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of SMB computer networks
  • Ability to respond to requests outside of normal office hours
  • Ability and willingness to learn new applications
  • Exceptional communication skills; verbal and written
  • Self-driven, conscientious individual who is detailed and organized
